Wedding centerpieces...where to look online for directions/photos?

Sister just announced her wedding date and I am in charge of a ton of stuff, like the table centerpieces for the reception. Love to find some webpages that give step by step directions on how to do this and lots of ideas! I will do the silk table arrangements and probably we will also have some fresh flowers for her to carry. Thanks for your help %26amp; enthusiasm!

Wedding centerpieces...where to look online for directions/photos?
I'm helping my mother in law plan a wedding for my brother n law...I was just at Michaels (craft store) and have they have pamphlets with do it yourself ideas with a complete material list and steps to walk you through how to make many different things involved in the wedding. I don't know if all of these ideas are on their website, http://www.michaels.com/art/online/proje... but here's the link if you want to have a look...there are more than 50 items to choose from.
Reply:Try theknot.com :) I recommend them for anything wedding related, and they have HUNDREDS of pictures of centerpieces and flower arrangements. No directions, but they are pretty self-explanatory.
Reply:Well you can get all kinds of ideas if you look on the Internet under weddings, bridal, flowers, etc....because they will show many examples.

My daughter had a Hawaiian wedding and we found a picture of the bouquet she liked, printed it and then took it to the florist and it turned out just beautiful.

You can also do your own table arrangements and make them as simple or as elaborate as you want.

I discovered while doing several weddings that if we used silk flowers on the aisles ( hung them on top of the large bows we made), fastened them with pipe cleaners, and just the day of the wedding added real fern and baby's breath to them, you couldn't tell they weren't real flowers.....then we lifted them off at the end of the wedding, carried them downstairs and used them for all the tables for centerpieces. You can also add a candle or two with them if you want.

We also made these for the candlelabras up front, the kneeling bench, register book table, etc. to add more to the room.

One daughter had a red and white valentine wedding....we did this with red silk roses that were hung on the candles down the aisle, and up front....then the girls carried real white flowers while the bride carried a real red rose bouquet.

I have never seen a more beautiful romantic wedding.

Then we carried them all to a dinner and used them again.

Add a lot of white lights on trees, etc. and you have a beautiful atmosphere.
