Disney's Hercules?

I don't get what the reference is or why this line is funny:

Hermes (after giving a flower bouquet to Hera): Yeah, you know, I had Orpheus do the arrangement. Isn't that too nutty?

Disney's Hercules?
Hehe
Reply:The only thing I can find is from wikipedia:

Orpheus was believed to be one of the chief poets and musicians of antiquity, and the inventor or perfector of the lyre. With his music and singing, he could charm wild beasts, coax the trees and rocks into dance and even divert the course of rivers.

I'm thinking the last sentence might explain it, but not well.
Reply:Hera is the goddess of marriage

Orpheus's bride died the day of their marriage and when he tried to get her back he failed and lost her a second time.

So the only thing (i put link lol i got a head of myself) I can think of is the irony that someone whose marriage failed because a god interfered (not hera...but apollo's son interfered) still arranged a bouquet for the goddess of marriage.
