Where can I buy wholesale flowers in Canada? Preferably Ontario?

I am getting married next fall and have a friend taking a flower arranging course. She has offered to do my arrangements, but we need to find flowers. I would like to find them as cheap as possible (obviously) but don't want to pay our the ears for shipping from the States....Thoughts?

As a general rule in order to buy wholesale you do need to have a PST exemption number that can only be obtained by being a registered business.



Another option is asking arranging to buy in bulk from an independent florist. They are generally more flexible with their terms and you should be able to find one that will arrange a special price based upon the quantity of goods you are wanting to buy,.
