I've given plenty of water and miracle grow to help them....but what else can I do to make them stand up tall again?
My flowers are in shock?
This is typical, and is called transplant shock. Some plants handle transplanting much better than others; some will totally curl up and die. Ever try to transplant a poppy? Most bulb plants including tulips survive transplanting fine, however they very likely will not do anything this season.
Now that you’ve done this, fall would have been a better time to have done your thorough weeding job.
Reply:leave them alone ,and you might get lucky enough to have the bulbs absorb the plant growth ,and bloom next season. I'm only saying lucky ,because of the 20/20/20 fertilization that you gave them might rot the bulb .you see a bulb s food is the dying vegetation that it produces ,meaning that it is SELF feeding.
Reply:If the bulbs are showing you have no chance. Sound like you have desturbed the bulbs but there is'nt much else you can do,exept if they are new flowers then tie a cane to them.
Reply:I personally wouldn't have done the miracle grow. If they are already in shock they aren't going to need the extra stimulation. I would just conctinue to water and see what happens.
Reply:did you move the tulips??
your best bet is to leave them alone and don't over water them either
and stay away from the miracle grow, I never use that stuff and my flowers and veggies do fine
Reply:as you say they are in shock just give just give TLC and see what happens
