Single flower for "first" date?

have gone to lunch with this girl before, and have sent her flowers twice. but first time we're goin to dinner together, and letting me pick her up. was thinking of going with a pink rose, just to be nice, and the last arrangement i sent was on thursday, so she can put it in with the other flowers
