I'm having an outdoor wedding in June and my color is turquoise and don't know what flowers to use.(no ivory)

i would like pretty colors to compliment my white and turquoise scheme, but don't want all white flowers, my dress is white, so ivory is out of the question, my bridesmaid is in black with turquoise ribbon.... help please! Any flower arrangements or pictures that go with our turquoise runners on our tables would be appreciated! Thanks

Reply:Yellow roses, maybe? Or even pinks. Red would look bold, but maybe too much so.
Reply:White and pink will always match but what if you had some blue or purple hydrangea added with them to compliment the turquoise? It would be really pretty
Reply:I think a small bunch of light pink roses for both yourself and your bridesmaids would be cute. I love in a colour scheme have a few little accents of differnt colours and i think some light pink roses would be cute! good luck with your wedding

And they come in many different colors though I think you should go with red...



Red matches your color choices... and stands out at the same time... its also an indication of passion and love...

Reply:What about Fushia? I love turquoise with a touch of fushia. Not much. Here and there like on the tables, brides mades hair, etc.
Reply:Long stem daffodils would be nice for outdoors. I would go towards yellows or oranges for a June wedding.
Reply:A pretty coral shade or any pink or red with a lot of orange in it. You want a warm pink and either light or dark as long as it is a warm shade.
Reply:Calla lillies would be very pretty. I had a 1920's themed wedding and my bouquet consisted of nothing but long-stemmed calla lillies tied together with a burgundy satin ribbon. The lillies come in many colors, but I think the prettiest are the solid white and the green/rose combo. You could mix those combinations and the bouquet would be classic and elegant. You don't want to bring in too much turquoise. Perhaps just a thick turquoise ribbon to bind them. My advice is to keep it simple.

Reply:Any flower that has an orange tint or under color (such as a red that is under toned by orange) preferably a native flower that is in bloom, will really bring your primary color ( blue= turquois) to center stage!! Congrats and happy planning!!!

Reply:i also had an outdoor wedding....i used Gerbras....they are multi coloured very bright and are a very happy flower for a very happy occasion.....my bridesmaids wore violet and the gerbras looked fantastic.....i had white gerbras in my bouquet boken up with green foliage....
