my cat has been vomiting for several days. we took him to the vet they did blood work and x-rays and found nothing. I had a flower arrangement with lillies which we removed from the house two days before he got sick. he also has a soft spot for plastic wrappers ... any advise?

Reply:I'd think it was the lillies. One of my cats became very ill and the vet wasn't sure what was wrong. Then we heard about lillies being poisonous to cats and got rid of a lily plant from the garden. Buddy did recover, with vet treatment, but it was touch and go.
Reply:I believe that lilies are poisonous to cats. Check the aspca.org website or search "cats and poisonous plants. I would mention that to your vet, if you have not already done so. Have you done anything else such as change food. My cat vomited for several days because of a food change. Good luck. I hope your kitty feels better soon.
