I didn't have a sweet 16 and now I'm definitely having a 17. The only problem is I only have 2000 dollars to do it with and I need some help because I'm having it in the commons at my school I want it to look different. I have an idea about having a forest type theme. I envision having paper-mache trees around the venue that are hanging over my visitors head with fog rolling in around their feet. Since the venue has a really high ceiling I want to make it feel more claustrophobic...I mean comfy; lol. I want the floor to have faux leaves scattered on it also make it feel like it is a forest. I also want 13 large circular tables with huge flower arrangements, they don't have to be real, of tall vases filled with black baccara roses. I am an artist so I could make all of the trees and vines myself. I also wanted to make a carriage for guests to take pictures in. I have tons of silk fabric, I also sew, to drape over the tables and chairs.
I'm having a gothic sweet 17?
huh... get sumone 2 help lol...
Reply:ask friends to make home made food and bring it in or go to resteraunt depo they have some good deals.

Reply:First off .... Happy Birthday. Secondly it is being held in a school so you must think of the surroundings. Cake , Punch, Cookies, finger sandwiches , Chips and dip are all good ideas. plus you can look up theme partys at many cooking and recipe sites online...
Hope it is the best party yet with many more to come.
