Can you help me with my wedding plans??

I can't decide on which colors, flowers or anything that I want for my wedding. Please help me!

So far this is what we're thinking:

#1: Ivory, Champagne, Burgundy

Ivory Wedding Dress

Burgundy Bridesmaids Dresses

Black Tux and Champagne Vest and Tie

Burgundy and Champagne Roses

#2: White, Silver, Burgundy

White Wedding Dress

Burgundy Bridesmaids Dresses

Black Tux with Silver Vest and Tie

Burgundy Roses with Silver Tips

I can't choose which arrangements I like better. I Iove #2 flower arrangements compared to #1, but #1 is still in my mind as well. I can't choose between the two! Please help me! Lots of replies would be great! Thanks for all of your help!

Also: Any other suggestions for anything would be really helpful! Thanks again!

Personally, I like #1! But if you like the flowers for #2 better, that might be the better choice! I think that the flowers make the biggest statement at a wedding!
Reply:I think they both sound absolutely beautiful! I like #1 the best. The colors are so warm and gorgeous! I was torn between those exact colors and what I ended up going with. I was just married in August of 07. My colors were black(tuxes) white(my dress) and all different shades of pink (flowers and bridesmaids dresses). I used lillies mostly, with some roses and other flowers mixed in. Obviously you can find a wider range of colors with silk flowers if you don't find quite what you are looking for with the live flowers!
Reply:Both color schemes sound lovely. #1 has a warmer tone while #2 has a cooler tone. What season are you getting married? You may also want to consider your skin tone, and the color scheme of your venue. If there is a lot of wood, natural setting I would choose #1. If the venue has more black and white I would choose #2.
Reply:both of those sound really nice.

my wedding colors were burgundy(red) and gold...

my wedding dress was ivory. my bridesmaid dresses were red+gold. The groomsmen wore black tuxs with red vests and my hubby wore a black tux with an ivory vest.

here are some pics from my wedding incase you want to see:

Reply:Number one for sure. Skip the silver. However, you can still have a white wedding dress.

Reply:For your wedding gown, pick the color that flatters your skin tone the best. If you're not sure whether that's white or ivory, go try some on and see. Don't just pick a color arbitrarily ... try them on and see what looks best. White washes some people out, and ivory looks too yellow on others. Generally, olive and dark-skinned people pull off white better, and light or pale-skinned people warm up a bit in ivory. But it depends on the individual person, of course.

Burgundy sounds like it'll be your main color no matter what. You can use any combination of ivory, white, champagne and silver with that, since those are all neural colors. You can use a combo of neutral colors without it clashing ... that's why they're called "neutral" colors.

As for the tuxes, your groom should be the one deciding on that. If he has no opinion, either champagne or silver would work nicely.

As for the flowers, I think champagne and burgundy roses would be very classy and sophisticated.
